Perfect wintersport weather: new snow will come!

In the past few days most areas have seen a little bit of fresh snow. Even though the fact that the the amount of snow is below average, the conditions are fine.

Coming week we will see a lot of sun. The temperatures will be relatively high. During this week we see new possibilities for fresh snow, especially in the south. Some models predict even 2 meter of fresh snow for the south of Switzerland! We have to wait a little bit before we know exactly which areas will benefit from this.

For the North side the situation is a little bit more complicated. Because of the 'Föhn-effect' the freezing-level is higher and therefore rain is even possible. But also in the northern area's most areas will receive some fresh snow, especcialy in the higher regions.
